Impact Robotics League

STOP WAITING. START BUILDING WHAT'S NEXT

You'll 3D print, wire, and battle your own robots—building real skills for a future powered by engineering and AI

What is IMPACT? A League Built for Builders

IMPACT is a new kind of robotics league for students in grades 7–12. Build your own 1lb 3D-printed plastic combat robot from the ground up.

You’ll 3D print your chassis, wire your own electronics, and compete head-to-head in real arenas.

Start from a blank slate or remix a proven design — it’s all up to you.

Designed for classrooms, after-school programs, and ambitious garage builders, IMPACT is where engineering, creativity, and strategy come together — and students lead the way.

Join our access list for early updates on launches, events, and how to get involved.

Our pilot program with Placer Robotics has already helped over 50 students get started with 3D-printed robotics in the last 13 months

  • Be the first to hear about upcoming leagues, pilot events, and launch kits.
  • Get early access to proven designs and engineering tips from student builders.
  • Compete this fall or bring it to your school—your robotics journey starts here.

Summer Smash: Building Our Future.

The Summer Smash showcased the hands-on building and competitive spirit that defines our league. Explore highlights from the robots students designed and built, the strategies they deployed, and hear directly from the young builders who made it happen.

How It Works

1. Form a Team

1–4 members per team.
Join with classmates, friends, or go solo.
Build in your classroom, after school, or at home.

2. Get a Kit & Printer Access

Start with a low-cost kit (~$150 per team).
Use your school’s 3D printer or a local hub.
Reusable, open components—no lock-in.

3. Design & Build

CAD, print, and assemble your entire robot.
Wire the electronics and test your system.
Build, break, and improve—it’s hands-on.

4. Compete

Bring your bot to a real event and hit the arena.
Face off in thrilling matches with other students.
Connect, share, and be part of the robotics community.
